Patriarchal Blessings are a beginning of understanding what the Lord will have for you.

I've appreciated seeing the stake patriarch sitting on the stand 

The conduit is opened to receive more each time we read it.  

How do you know when to receive your blessing? How do you become worthy enough to know it is time to ask to be able to receive it?

I've come to realize that the patriarchal blessing is not a prophet who will prophesy either what you will lack in life or what may be really hard for you in life. 

My worst fears were that I would not be told I would receive certain blessings.

The plan is all about agency and so we are agents to choose what we will do with what we have been invited and counseled to do.

It is more about ideas that we are inspired with than the actual words.

As we learn and grow we can see that what we think is our plan can often be accomplished in a different way and by different means than what we initially think.  Often the words have a different meaning and that meaning evolves as you learn and grown in life.  

Tribes

It was interesting to note that siblings can have different tribe assignments

Tribes are symbolic and noted for what each does in the Old Testament

Is it true that tribes represent different spiritual roles in the Second Coming?

The tribes are scattered not lost unto the Lord....this includes us.
